Zamalek lost the African derby against Al-Ahly tonight in the first game of the first group in the African champions league , the game was closed and Zamalek performed a very good tactic game with a real shortage in players for transfers , suspensions and injuries.
Flafio the Angolan Ahly player scored the first goal for Ahly at 28th min with a
fatal mistake from Zamalek right defender Mohamed Abdl Allah , in the sec. half
Zamalek pressed and controlled the game and succeeded to score a tremendous goal
by Gamal Hamza in the 62nd min. , however Ahmed Hassan - Egypt captain and new
Ahly player scored the winning goal for Ahly from a free kick in the 67 the min
of the game

Finally , Zamalek board have agreed , principally , to let Amr Zaki , Zamalek's
1st team and Egypt's striker , go to England for medical tests in Wigan Athletic
that participates in the English Premier League . Zamalek board agreed to
offload Zaki after meeting Zamalek's financial requirements . Wigan will pay a
loan fee of 1,250,000 plus 400,000 euros with an option to sign the player at
the end of the loan period for an agreement transfer fee less than the amount
already paid by Wigan to Zamalek . The English club also agreed to pay 500,000
to Zamalek if the player scores 10 Premier League goals for Wigan during the
loan spell

officially and joined our team for a 4 years contract
Hany Saïd played in el
Ahly when he was 17 then he played in Italy for 8 years as a defender and half
defender in (Bari , Fiorentina , Mesina ) and a year in belgium
(Mons)
Hany Saïd.(born April 22, 1980)
He started his youth career at
Al Ahly in 1997. He then moved to Italian club A.S. Bari in 1998, he played with
the club 3 seasons in Serie A.
Hani moved after 5 years with Bari to Messina
where they gained promotion to Serie A, after that he moved to Fiorentina where
he could not find his place, he then joined the Belgian second division club
Mons, but due to his injury troubles he returned to Egypt to Ismaily in July
2007.
On March 2002 Caf and Fifa banned Hani for 6 months after testing
positive for drugs in 2002 African Nations Cup which was held in Mali, he
returned to Egypt national football team in 2004 but he didn't participate in
the winning team of 2006, however Hassan Shehata the coach of Egypt has recalled
him in the preliminary squad for ACN 2008 which won the cup too.

Zamalek lost today for the eighth time this season against Etisalat with 3 goals to 2 both scored by Hamza, Zamalek played a very bad game and lost the desire to win as if he is playing with no target, most of the players were out of shape and they seemed distracted from the game and if it wasn’t for talented Hamza they would never scored any goals, Wessam’s fatal mistake and the ref both helped the score to be against Zamalek as the first caused the first goal and the second gave Etisalat an untrue penalty, Zamalek lost the second place once again to Esmaily and he also repeated his loss record in one season as 2005.

Luck has put both Egyptian teams in the most difficult group of the African
Champions league
Group one includes Zamalek, Ahly, Ivorian Asec and dynamos Harare that threw the
Tunisian Nejm out of the champion league.
The second group includes Helal of Sudan, Nigerian Anemba, cotton of Cameron and Congolian

“Halim, Zaki, Halim, Osama, Zaki“ that is the rhythm of today’s game in which Zamalek offered one of his best performances till now and could brilliantly smash Al-Aluminum with 5 goals scored by the pre-stated players to one weird goal for the visitors
This rhythm which could have been much longer if our players didn’t waste this much of very easy chances during both the first and the second half, however our condolence is that we played a whole great game this time with almost quiet good and stable performance all the match and we were finally able to solve the second half mystery by scoring two goals
The biggest victory today -besides the 3 points of course- is the great come back for Hazem Emam Zamalek’s captain who played his best game this season by very brilliant assists and throw passes that created a lot of easy chances to the strikers
Also Magdy Atwa played one of his very good games that he made the first three goals and he also did well in his new place as a back right
This victory puts us solo second in the league table and also it’s a good try out for the next important Angolan meeting but it’s wise to know that our next contender will not be that easy as Aluminum

Zamalek lost very important two points today in his 2nd place seeking after he
tied with AL-Makwolon Al Arab by one goal to each side, Zamalek only goal was
scored by Shikabala early from a great assist made by Fathalla using the large
gabs in the home team defence, the gab that Zamalek used it almost all the first
half but unfortunately he couldn’t score more goals for many reasons one of
which was the tendency of the strikers to only score showy goals which is a good
thing but only after we secure our victory with more goals, however at the
second half -as usual- Zamalek’s performance greatly retarded even after Amr
Zaki came off the bench, although he tried a lot but he couldn’t change the fact
that Zamalek didn’t score a goal in the second half in his last 10 matches

With two goals to one and in only the first half Zamalek achieved today a new
victory over Gazl El-Mahla to become solo in the second place in the Egyptian
league
Zamalek played a great first half with very fast, entertaining and
brilliant football and scored in two occasions early by Hamza who played his
best match this season, Shikabala as well played very simple cooperative
football and he was so close to score at least two goals but he wasted them
strangely, actually Shika was not the only one who wasted easy chances a lot of
players did specially unlucky but yet clever Sheriff Ashraf who wasted alone 3
goals which helped the score to be tight after all
Unfortunately Zamalek’s
good performance didn’t last all the game as it greatly retarded by the end of
the first half and all the second which is annoying but Helmi excused the
players for that due to the over pressure on them
However the good news for
the fans is the true come back of Waheed today in spite of his partial
responsibility for the goal but he rescued Zamalek’s three points by two great

over Suez cement with 4 goals to 3 to bring the competition back on the second
place in the league table
Zamalek players dealed with the game smartly enough
that they managed to score 3 goals in the first 30 minutes with the least effort
possible, the goals were scored by Fathallah -from a penalty-, Mohamed Bobo -own
goal-, Sherif Ashraf and the new comer Ahmed Ibrahim

the man of the match with the great assists he made and his brilliant skills
that simply gave Zamalek the three points which is great specially in the
absence of many players
However the game today witnessed the come back of
unlucky Waheed who unfortunalty received 3 goals but yet he was consistent and
made some well saves and it’s only a matter of time for him to be the best goal

played very OLD football and if the game continued for more 2 hours they would
never score goals and the weird part is that Kroll was watching and did nothing

With penalties and in a very hard game Zamalek’s first football team managed to
pass the Ivorian dilemma and continues his African way to round 16
Zamalek was fighting so many circumstances as they played against the weather,
the pitch and also the ref who was so unfair and insisted on ending the game to
the home team by helping them with 2 -so called- penalties both weren’t even
close which made the game much harder for Zamalek specially that both were
scored to make the AGG. Score 2-2 that took the game to penalties on which
Zamalek succeeded to end it to his own by 5 goals to 4
In spite of all that it will be fair to admit that Zamalek performance was over
defensive and missed the desire to score goals, anyway congratulations for all
Zamalek fans whom deserve this victory

Zamalek continues his last victories with a very great one this time over Geish
" Egyptian Army " with 2 goals to 1 in a very one sided game to Zamalek
Although the
score seems tight but yet Zamalek played with the best performance from long
time ago and the result would have been at least tripled if the players didn’t
waste this much chances
Zamalek goals were scored by Aboelela and Shikabala
both with Ga’far’s assist, ga’far on mention wasted -alone- 5 goals but yet he
played a good game after all
Shikabala was certainly the man of the match
with his great moves and passes as well as Ganem Sultan
However this is a
very important victory for the team in his competition on the second place at
the league table and also a very good push before the important 2nd leg of round
32 in the African champion’s league

Zamalek passed half the way to the next round of the African champions league
quite successfully with a cheerful victory over Africa sports by 2 goals to nil
scored by Zaki and Aboalala both in the first half
Zamalek started the game as usual with a hesitating performance and Monsef was
the hero of the first ten minutes with great savings but it didn’t take much
time for the players to control the whole game and offer a great performance and
high spirit
Hamza was absolutely the man of the game as he contributed in both goals by a
brilliant throw pass to Zaki who didn’t hesitated to put it in the target and
Hamza as well was the main reason of the second goal from a well done foul that
bounced from the bar to meet Aboalala’s head

Zamalek reaches the Egyptian Cup Final after winning over his
competitor Haras Al Hodoud 2 to 1 on Tuesday the 18 of March.
Amr Zaki scored Zamalek's first goal at the beginnings of the first half, Al-Haras

lucky” Ahly club, the two “Weird” goals were scored by Fathy who found the ball
“by coincidence” in front of him to put it in Monsef’s goal -who is not blamed
for both goals- to score Ahly’s first goal, the second wasn’t less stranger with
Beshir’s fatal mistake trying to pass the ball to Monsef improbably to be used

Whatever Zamalek was the leading allover the game except for the first 10
minutes which witnessed unbalanced performance by the players but soon they
controlled the game and wasted so many chances, the most remarkable was for
Ga’far who wasted a very easy chance when the ball bounced in front of him in
the 6 yards area
The ref also played a part with his weird neglecting to a very clear penalty for
Hamza after he got prevented by Amir’s arm in the penalty area

Zamalek’s first football team continues his victories today in his game with Ennpi which ended with a single goal to nil scored by the new star Mohamed Ibrahim from a free kick that was well performed by Tarek El-Said to meet Ibrahim’s head
In general this victory is greatly useful from many aspects cause it’s the third in a raw which brings self confidence back to the players before the important Friday meeting with El Ahly also it puts the team in the third place in the league table which is relatively a good position putting into consideration all what the team had gone through and the fact that a lot of players are out of the squad for different reasons makes this victory very useful the thing that Helmi -Zamalek’s coach- mentioned in the press conference after the game

Zamalek first football team launched the African champions league - Zamalek’s
favorite champion - with a useful victory over APR FC with 2 goals to

Zamalek played an average game due to many factors which made this victory
very valuable but overall Zamalek’s performance was ok
Zamalek wasted so
many chances and the team only managed to score twice by G’affer early at the
4th minute and the second goal was scored by Hamza from a great follow
Unfortunately the game witnessed Abd El-Wahed’s - Zamalek’s first keeper -
injury which will keep him out of the squad for awhile

Great news came today to bright all Zamalek fans when FIFA decided to raise
Shikabala’s -Zamalek super star- ban which enables him to play once again with
the team specially that Zamalek is going through a lot the next few months and
in desperate need to his spoiled kid
It’s important to mention that FIFA had
banned Shikabala for 6 months due to an illegal transfer from PAOK Saloniki to
Zamalek and there is also a €990,000 fine on the club due to the same

Zamalek’s board finally managed to sign a contract with Adidas Company for
producing the new kits of the first football team and the other different teams
in the club
It’s important to mention that the white (home) kit of the team

Another shock for Zamalek Board was declared by FIFA
today with 6 months ban handed out to their talented playmaker Shikabala
is final and can’t be appealed.
Egyptian number one
star has been hit with a 6 month ban from the FIFA due to an illegal transfer
from PAOK Saloniki to Zamalek, and there is also a €990,000 fine on the club due
to the same transfer
Abbas the head of Zamalek’s board announced lately that
the club can appeal the rule and the ban can be reduced. He also declared that
the player can participates until FIFA says its word in the case.
But unfortunately what Abbas said was found to be wrong and Zamalek will lose
his superstar for the next 6 months.
This fine
comes at the same time the board is trying to finish the winter transfers with

first match in the Egyptian cup which will be played while the national team
participates in the African cup of nations next January.

either Alnasr or Kahrbaa Alasmalia in round 32 on 4th of January in Cairo

zamalek managed to pass this round successfully, zamalek will then have to meet
either Baladiyet El Mahallah or Suez Cement also in Cairo.

After a dramatic game Zamalek returned home from Port - Said with a three
points in his game against Masry.
Sherif Ashraf scored his first goal and the only goal of the game 6
minutes from the start.
According to Taha Basri - Zamalek ex-star - Zamalek had a good performance
through out his line up. Amr Al-Safti was good addition to the defense. The
midfield players performed their defending duties.

Zamalek snatched 3 points tonight from Enppi at Ac stadium after a Hard 1-0 win

Zamalek wasted a lot of chances in the 1st Half from Shikabala And Amr zaki .
In the 2nd half ,, Zamalek was pressing all over the field then Zamalek finally
broke Enppi's resistance in the 72nd minute when Shikabala received Ahmed
Magdi's pass before sending a low shot that deflected off Amr fahim ennpi`s
Defender. and looped into the back of the net.
Then Rud Krul Changed the Match to a one side game after he
replaced Shikabala by Magdy Atwa at the 75th minute .. Magdy Atwa made

Ittehad defender Yossef Abdel Rahman

Henri Michel made a surprise announcement on Sunday morning stating that
he is quitting his job as Zamalek’s coach
Michel, who signed a two year contract extension with the Cairo based
club in April, made the announcement to his players after their morning
training session and told them his decision accusing them of being
spiritless ,and also because his request to discard the veteran trio
Hazem Emam, Tarek Al-Sayed and AbdelHalim Ali was rejected by Zamalek`s
Board.
Michel’s decision came after receiving an offer to coach Morocco in the
forthcoming African Cup of Nation.
Former Zamalek coach Nelo Vingada, who had previously coached Zamalek
and won Egyptian league with them in 2004. And Veteran coach Al-Gohary

Zamalek passed the semi-final of the Egyptian Cup tonight after defeating Petrol Assyut 1-0 in Cairo stadium
Zamalek looked affected by the long suspension of games for 3 weeks & the players didn't perform well
Abdel Monssif saved dangerous balls from Assyut counter attacks while Zamalek midfield was lost most of the game
Before the end by 20 minutes Zamalek started to press until Amr Zaki scored from a great header through the only good cross Halim made in the whole game
Abu El3ela refused to end the game peacefully & took the second yellow in the same game (red card), so he will not play the final game
Congratulations for Zamalek fans & we hope that the Coaches will work more to prepare the players better for the Final next Monday in Cairo

3-0 at Cairo stadium tonight.
Zamalek will meet Petro. Assiut who surprisingly knocked Enppi out
Gamal Hamza opened the score with a nice goal from a smart pass from Halim.
Gamal added his second wonderful goal in the second half by dribbling &
shoooting one of the best shots at the upper left corner of Mansoura's net
Amr Zaki who came in the second half had fought with a very high spirit to get

In the Final Match of the Egyptian league (season 2006/2007) Zamalek crashed El Masry by 3 goals to nil .
Gamal Hamza scored the 1st goal with a wonderful header on the 11th minute of the 1st half .
Then Mohamed Abu El Ela Added the 2nd from a Freekick on the the 40th minute .
In the 2nd half Amr zaki scored the 1st goal for him in the match and the 3rd for Zamalek from the Spot , after he played the Penality kick on the right of el Masry`s Keeper
Zamalek secured the 2nd place and will participate in the African champions league the next season .

Zamalek Football team won his game tonight against Ahly club in the 99th derby game in the Egyptian league.
Zamalek deserved the two goals win, and played the game with a great performance witch made him on the top of the game from the first minute.
Shikabala was the man of the match , he did all what he want in this game passing the first goal to Tamer Abdel Hamied in the first half , and controlling the midfield with his talent and skill all over the game,
Gamal Hamza scored a great goal in the 2nd half with a great pass from Abo Alela,
Zamalek waste more than 5 real chances in this game and waste a penalty kick in the 3rd minute in the 2nd half
when Wael Al-Qabany played it weakly to Ahly goal keeper hand.

Zamalek players celeberate the first goal
Shikabala Scored twice to lead Zamalek to a crushing 3-0 away victory over Harras Al-Hodoud the Egyptian League clash on Saturday.
The former PAOK Saloniki playmaker opened the scoring after only 4 minutes of the 1st half after a mistake from el Hedoud`s defence before Abdul-Halim Ali added the second six minutes after the break.
Shikabala was on target again at the 62th minute through a powerful drive as Zamalek continued their push for a CAF Champions League spot next season
Al Hodoud finished the match with nine men on the field after Abde lSalam Nagah and Ahmed Eid were sent-off while Zamalek had to play most of the game with ten men after ahmed ghanem was sent off too .
Zamalek are third in the league table with 59 points and one game in hand, two short of second-placed Ismaili who played one match more.
